Before I began training with LPE I had a moderately active lifestyle. A friend that was training with Derek introduced me to the advantages of having a personal trainer which was something I had never considered before. Before working out with Life Performance Enhancement, I didnt feel motivated to do physical activity, and was often times overwhelmed. I always felt uncomfortable to utilize the gym on my own, feeling unsure about how to use the equipment, and feeling out of my element.

Training with Life Performance The strength and conditioning program I participated in was great. Through hard work I gained 21 pounds of muscle. I started training with Derek When I was 16 years old 4 days per week. Within the first 8 weeks I had increased the velocity on my fastball 3 MPH. I felt stronger not just in my larger muscles but in every muscle I used when throwing the ball. By the end of my senior year in high school I put on 25lbs of lean muscle increased the velocity in my fastball 5 MPH and received a scholarship to Long Beach State University. I was reccomended by a professional baseball scout to begin training with Derek. So that I could improve not only my strength and explosiveness, but my coordination and stamina. After a few workouts with Derek I noticed I felt a lot stronger in my core section and I improved in my footwork and my range of motions. I found Derek through Azusa Pacific University he was reccomended through their athletics department. I was training for Miss California, USA and he was helping me get in shape for the big competition. He was energetic, encouraging, professional, and actually fun to train with!
